Assessment and Reporting

The goal of assessment is to improve both students' learning and teachers' teaching by responding to the information it provides. As the science teachers said during our SLAC session, teaching would be ineffective if the teacher had no idea how to accurately assess learning.

Examinations, activities, and quizzes

In my almost 2 months of stay at Sipocot National High School for my internship experience, I had a total of six (6) quizzes, three (3) performance activities, two (2) summative tests, and one (1) periodical examination.

Employing these diverse types of assessment methods has helped me evaluate the level of learning that the students achieved throughout my stay as their physical science teacher.

This activity helped me in evaluating the learnings of the students about liming reactants. They performed the activity successfully and accurately answered the guide questions.
